Cullum Group can trace its origins to supporting the war effort in WW2, by developing the first silencing equipment (Cullum Mrk IV Detuner) for the testing of the first jet engine to power an operational aircraft (Frank Whittle’s W2).

This long history of working with Defense Departments to solve challenging acoustic problems around the world has led to a range of products with a proven pedigree of success.

Cullum Group supports militaries around the world to keep mission critical testing operations running on time and to the highest performance levels.

Cullum-USA provides these proven solutions to our North American customers, with local teams of engineers, project managers, and installers who can provide rapid response acoustic and flow solutions to any military base in the CONAS region.

Our history in the United States goes back to providing support to the DoD via the USAF by developing the original T9 Hush House design and providing dozens of them to Airforce bases across America.

In more recent times we support our military through refurbishment of aero test facilities (flow conditioning screens, turning vanes, intake baffles, augmentors, and exhaust stacks), supply of acoustic products (doors, windows, and modular enclosures), and the engineering and supply of new custom test cell components to meet the needs of the latest generation of jet engines.

Familiar with all forms of FAR and DFAR regulations, and the federal contracting system, our team can easily provide tender responses that comply with all the government requirements. Whether working as the Prime or integrating with your Sub-Contractor team Cullum is a trusted partner for all Defense applications.
